Rep. Paul Ryan who will be nominated by the Republican party for Vice President next week is coming to California.
Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, the vice-presidential running mate of presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, will be in Fresno on Sept. 8 for a dinner fundraiser.
According to an invitation being circulated, it will cost $1,000 per person to get in the door of the Fresno Convention Center’s Valdez Hall, where the event will be held. Costs go up from there — to $25,000 per couple.
California is the ATM of national campaigns and the Fresno area has been kind to Mitt Romney before.
Of course, Romney-Ryan have no chance of winning California, but the money they raise can be used in a key battleground state like Ohio or Florida.
